New efforts are underway to record and preserve our beautiful Cherokee language. ❤️ The Cherokee Nation Language Department has been meeting with Cherokee Speakers to record their conversations and has already recorded 282 Cherokee Speakers speaking for a total of 352.5 hours, with a goal of reaching 10,000 hours.
