Experimented with planting saffron crocus in October. A month later the crocus bloomed and I was harvesting saffron, amazing! ⁣ ⁣ I’ve yet to learn if the bulbs will withstand our hot summers. (I’ll experiment with pulling some out and leaving some in to find out.) ⁣ ⁣ After high school I spent a few months living in Spain.
